Academic counseling

The Department of Biology offers academic counseling, including an evaluation of the student's academic record per request. The purpose of this process is to guide the student into completing its academic requirements as soon as possible, by selecting the appropriate courses for each semester in accordance with the student's interests and goals. By doing so, the student avoids any problems that might prevent him or her from graduating.

Students must remember that their success in completing the requirements of their program in the palnned time-span depends on their initiative to request their academic evaluation in time to their department or program. It is essential that the student requests an academic evaluation at the beginning of each semester even when the registration process is carried through the Internet. The appointments are announced and handled by the Office of Health Allied Programs which is located in from of the Department of Biology office in the first floor of the NCN-I building.
