BIOL 6126: Poblational Ecology

Description

A study of the fundamental theories and methodologies currently used in the analysis of animal and plant populations. Emphasis will be in the quantitative aspects of population biology such as the statistical analysis of spatial dispersion patterns, the mathematical models describing the growth and dynamics of unstructured and age/stage structured populations and the mathematical models that attempt to explain reproductive decisions in plants and animals such as reproductive effort and sex allocation.
