BIOL 6007: Reproductive Processes in Plants

Description

A study of the ecological, systematic, and evolutionary consequences of reproduction in flowering plants. Topics include breeding systems, gametophyte development, pollen-stigma interactions, pollination syndromes, pollen flow, reproductive isolation, optimal theory, competition, coevolution, limitations to fruit and seed production, seed dispersal, flowering strategies, and angiosperm speciation.
